About the MCPHS School of Nursing

Founded in 1823, MCPHS University (formerly Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences) is the oldest institution of higher education in the entire City of Boston. The mission of MCPHS University is to prepare students for successful careers in healthcare through excellence in teaching, scholarship, research, professional service, and community engagement, and the School of Nursing’s mission is to provide students with a high quality and innovative education, and to foster scientific inquiry and professional services.The baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN), master’s degree in nursing (MSN-FNP), and post-graduate APRN certificate (CAGS-FNP) from the MCPHS University School of Nursing are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), and has the following programs:
